KARAKORUM EXPLORERS
Means a group of dedicated professionals. Though the Karakorum Explorers was established in 1992, the Chief Executive and other staff were practically involved in tourism industry for the last fifteen years. Karakorum Explorers has its Head Office in the beautiful village of Ganish in Hunza - an ideal base for excursions to the mountains and into China. There is also a liaison office in Islamabad which is fully computerized with E-mail, fax, and internet connections to enhance communications. All the office based staff are highly experienced and guides, coming from the tribes in which the treks and tours are operated, have excellent local knowledge.

Most of our tours and treks that place in areas where tourists are still a relatively new phenomenon. We run treks amongst the high rock walls, snow peaks and glaciers of the Karakorum as well as amongst the equally beautiful Hindukush Mountains with the greener and more varied river valleys. We offer over 50 treks, which are graded according to difficulty involved and experience needed.

Whichever itinerary you select you can be sure of being accompanied by an experienced guide and his assistants. Their principal concern will be the needs, safety and comfort of each and every member of the party.

3. Jeep safaris and culture tours for relaxed people, we have jeep safaris with hiking and at special localities, cultural tours to explore the history of the region, camel safaris and Arial safaris to enjoy and share the wonders of Pakistan.

FOUNDER
Mubarak Hussain is the Founder of the Karakorum Explorers an energetic young man of 39 years, with good physics and balanced personality. He posses a knowledge of local and International tourism. He has a handsome practical experience of 14 years in tourism business with a knowledge and information of foreign market. He comes from Hunza. He has been leading numerous groups on treks/tours in all parts of Pakistan. He has great enthusiasm to enhance and develop the tourism in Pakistan.
